The war between Piers Morgan and Arsene Wenger has continued.
On Friday, many believed the Arsenal boss was referring to Morgan when he said that people with “big egos” were driving the ‘Wenger Out’ campaign. This led to a 17-tweet tirade from the television personality in which he called Wenger a “laughing stock”.
And Morgan hasn’t stopped in his social media assault of Wenger, sending several tweets on Saturday morning criticising the Frenchman and calling for his departure.

Morgan has accused Wenger of showing no respect to fans and called him the “greatest excuse-merchant in world football”.
He was also asked who the solution to Arsenal’s problem is, to which he simply replied: “Simeone.”
Morgan is one of many fans who believe this season has proven more than any other that Wenger isn’t the right man to take the club forward.
The Gunners have suffered another spring collapse, winning only four of their past 14 games, and what appeared to be a title-contending season at the turn of the year has suddenly become a struggle to finish in the top four.
Wenger didn’t help his faltering relationship with the fans by appearing to accuse them of hurting their title bid. The 66-year-old said his players have been forced to play in a “very difficult climate” at home matches.
This was something Morgan took offence to, claiming: “WENGER LOGIC: Leicester, no cash no stars, 12pts ahead of us. #fanstoblame. Spurs to finish above us in PL for 1st time ever. #fanstoblame”.
