Jim Ross believes Chyna should be in the WWE Hall of Fame

Published 1 Comments

Two weeks ago, the WWE and entire wrestling community received the sad news that Chyna had passed away at the age of 46.

She was an amazing figure during her time with the WWE. She wasn't the usual mould of what a woman wrestler looked like at the time in the company. Due to that, she broke boundaries that no one thought a woman in wrestling could do.

Her work with D-Generation X alongside Triple H and Shawn Michaels made her one of the biggest stars in the Attitude Era. So much so, she broke new ground, becoming the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble Match and the first and only woman to win the Intercontinental Championship.

Yet, the one thing that truly eluded her during her time alive was a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, and many people believe she deserved it. The WWE will likely induct her soon after what has happened, but once again, another WWE legend has passed before they were rightfully inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Another WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross gave his two cents on Chyna's possible Hall of Fame induction on a recent edition of his weekly "Ross Report" podcast at PodcastOne.com - according to NoDQ - and he believes she should be a Hall of Famer without a shadow of a doubt.

He said: "I can tell you this, all this talk about the [WWE] Hall Of Fame, in, out, whatever. Look, it's pretty damn clear to me that based on Chyna's contributions in the ring, and what she did for WWE when she was on the roster, and the contributions at a key time [for] the company, that Attitude Era, and the Monday Night Wars and all of that stuff, I just believe that her contributions are so significant that she is without a doubt a Hall Of Famer. Without question.

"It's just unfortunate that if it happens, or when it happens, I'd like to say and like to think, she won't be here to accept the honor."

Whether or not Chyna is finally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 remains to be seen. Triple H said not too long ago that she should be in the Hall of Fame, but probably won't be because of problems with children Googling her name to find her history.

After her death, The Game then said Chyna should be in the Hall of Fame when the time is right. Many fans will believe the time is right now, as there are many superstars already inducted into the Hall with bad history.
