These are SPOILERS for this Thursday's episode of WWE SmackDown so if you don't want to know it then turn away now.
Darren Young hasn't really been seen much since the split up of the Prime Time Players a few months ago, getting very little television time - appearing in the United States number one contender battle royal this week - but not having any promo or storyline time.
That is all set to change now, however, as the former tag team champion is getting a push and it involves a WWE Hall of Famer.

According to reports emerging from the SmackDown taping, it looks like Young is being repackaged together with WWE legend Bob Backlund.
"During tonight’s WWE Smackdown tapings, Darren Young will be debuted a new gimmick, and he will be paired with WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund, who will be returning to WWE TV," a report from WrestleZone states.
"Backlund will be Darren Young’s 'life coach', and the duo will be using the mantra 'make Darren great again' which is a riff of Donald Trump’s campaign slogan,"
A segment will be airing on WWE Smackdown this week which will see Darren Young asking Bob Backlund for his help, and Backlund, in turn, will tell Young that wrestling is life.
Darren Young has been with WWE since the first season of NXT in 2010, where he was mentored by CM Punk. He was part of the first iteration of Nexus alongside the likes of Wade Barrett, Heath Slater, and Justin Gabriel.
Young won the WWE Tag Team Championships back in June of 2015 at Money In The Bank, alongside his tag partner Titus O'Neil.
The Prime Time Players were split up with O'Neil getting a singles push before he was suspended by the WWE for an incident with Vince McMahon following the Daniel Bryan retirement edition of RAW.
