Yaya Toure has been slammed on social media for his lacklustre performance for Manchester City in their Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

An amusing 30-second video of the midfielder strolling around the pitch is currently doing the rounds and you can watch it by scrolling down this page.

Toure, who turns 33 next week, can be seen jogging around in what was one of the biggest matches in Manchester City’s history - and football fans on Twitter were not impressed.

Manuel Pellegrini was also unimpressed with Toure’s efforts and substituted the Ivorian with half-hour remaining for Raheem Sterling.

One thing’s for sure: if Pep Guardiola was watching - which he will be, despite Bayern Munich’s exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid last night - Toure’s in trouble.
