Ladies and gentleman, may we present to you the Knockout of the Year. That isn't hyperbole, this is genuinely the most vicious 2016 has seen.
It doesn't come from the UFC, it doesn't even come from Bellator, ONE Championship, RIZIN, or the World Series of Fighting.
The best KO of the year, by far, is from amateur fighter Sheldon Reid. The English fighter destroyed his opponent with a truly devastating kick to the head. And you have to see it.

At Shinobi War 7, Reid and his ridiculous kicks took on Leeds-based Julio Calcina in a bantamweight bout in Liverpool, England.
In the dying seconds of the first round, the two were clinched up against the fence when Calcina connected with a knee that accidentally landed low. The referee halted the action and restarted the two when Reid was ready.
And oh boy was he ready, as the Brit connected on a truly incredible front-face kick that knocked Calcina out the moment it landed, sending Julio crashing down to the mat like a fallen tree - face planting hard as he hit the canvas.
"That is the best knockout I have ever seen live."
The KO earned Reid a cash bonus of £1,000, not a bad night's work for an amateur fighter with only two previous bouts to his name - one of which he won with a knockout by the way of punches in 2015 and the other being a unanimous decision just two weeks ago.
Julio Calcina, on the other hand, now boasts a record of 1-2. Maybe this isn't for him, or his face which was last seen travelling out of the back of his skull.
