If the report is to be believed, the duo of Sandro and Munir El Haddadi have grown tired at the lack of football at the Camp Nou and are set to depart the club in the next transfer window.
It appears, then, that could lead Luis Enrique and co. to Perez, who has impressed in the Premier League despite his club's precarious position in the table.

Indeed, Perez has netted on six occasions this term and will have a huge role to play as the season approaches its final stages.
Despite Barca's reported interest, it appears that Perez is intent on helping his current side maintain their Premier League status.
And Perez has hailed his new manager Rafa Benitez, claiming that it's really good' that he's the club's new manager.
The versatile forward told the Chronicle: “It’s really good that he’s here, for me and the team.
“We are doing really well. Things are changing at the club and we can see that.”
After a strong recent run, Benitez's side find themselves out of the relegation, but Perez is will aware that the side can't rest on their laurels over the final couple of games.
Six points to play for
Newcastle face Aston Villa and Tottenham and it's safe to say that they will be hoping to take maximum points.
Perez certainly believes that his team can do just that but claims that Newcastle must take each game one at a time.
He continued: “We need to keep believing and keep doing what we’re doing. We’ll try to win the two games and stay up, but we must go one at a time.”
It's certainly not going to be easy for the club to avoid relegation, but the Rafa factor really could help them reach the finish line.
Newcastle are full of confidence right now and mustn't let nerves get to them in their final two fixtures. A victory over Aston Villa this weekend is most definitely a must.
