It’s a shame that immediately after winning the Premier League trophy, there are already rumours flying about that Leicester’s star players could leave the club this summer.
While the lure of Champions League football may be enough to keep some of the heroes at the King Power, the realisation that they could earn more money and be guaranteed European football every season could see them leave the club.
There have been plenty of players that have been magnificent throughout the campaign for the Foxes but arguably the most impressive is Riyad Mahrez.

The Algerian picked up the PFA Player of the Year award as his 17 goals and 11 assists helped Leicester to pull off the incredible 5000/1 shot by winning the title.
The club signed Mahrez for just £375,000 from French side Le Havre in 2014 but his transfer fee could be 100 times more than that now.
One thing that will help inflate his value is the fact he still has three years remaining on his current deal. However, it’s believed he is only picking up £35,000-per-week at Leicester - a wage he deserves to double, at least.
And Mahrez’s agent, Kamel Bengougan, has admitted that his client could well be leaving the champions in the summer.
Comments from Mahrez's agent
“Yes of course there is a possibility [of leaving],” he said, per The Guardian.
“When you have been playing the way Riyad has this season it is bound to attract attention. He is very happy with Leicester and of course it has been a fantastic season. They will play in the Champions League next year as well so he would be happy to stay.
“But at his age if the opportunity comes to play for a big team then we would have to think about it. I’d say it’s 50/50 at the moment whether he stays or goes.
“We have interest from the UK and overseas. We will have to see what develops over the next few weeks," he concluded.
Fight to keep hold of stars
But Mahrez isn’t the only player that could be leaving. It’s been revealed that fellow star N’Golo Kante has a £19.6 million release clause and there is likely to be plenty of interest in the Frenchman.
One man that will be devastated to hear the comments from Mahrez’s agent is Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha. The vice-chairman has insisted that he will be reluctant to let any of his key players to leave as they attempt to build on their incredible season.
However, that is likely to be easier said than done when the European giants come knocking.
