Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores flick volley in PSG training session

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored goals during his illustrious career that mere mortals could never dream of replicating.

There are thousands of video compilations on YouTube featuring some of Zlatan’s most outrageous goals and, at the age of 34, still has a few years left in him to add to his extensive collection of worldies.

The Swedish forward has scored all types of goals but may have invented a new type of finish in training this week. (Scroll down this page to watch the video).

Zlatan waited for the cross and volleyed the ball past the goalkeeper with the outside of his right boot.

It was an unorthodox flicked volley - but then when has Zlatan ever done anything orthodox?

Paris Saint-Germain describe Zlatan’s flick as an ‘amazing goal’ on their official YouTube channel and while that might be a little over the top, it was certainly impressive.

This was one of those unusual goals that only Zlatan seems to be capable of scoring.

Zlatan is improving with age

The world-class striker told reporters earlier this season that, like a fine wine, he’s improving with age - and when you look at his stats from this term it’s hard to argue with him.

Zlatan has scored a career-best 44 goals in 47 appearances for PSG this season, including 34 in 28 in Ligue 1.

Zlatan could leave PSG this summer

As things stand, it’s unclear whether Zlatan will still be a PSG player next season.

His contract is up for renewal this summer and speculation is rife that he’ll leave the Parc des Princes for what would presumably be the last big transfer of his career.

As well as several Premier League clubs - most notably, Manchester United - it’s understood that AC Milan are keen to bring Zlatan back to Italy this summer.

And his agent, Mino Raiola, has admitted there is a possibility of a return to the San Siro.

"He could,” Raiola was quoted as telling GQ by ESPN this month.

"We're already in talks with a club where he left his mark once already. Ibra has already shown that he is capable of making incredible gestures and even turning down millions to go to Milan could be one of them.

"As things stand, though, he has not yet made up his mind."
