The Cleveland Cavaliers could make their way to the Eastern Conference Finals without having lost a single game in the playoffs after they beat the Atlanta Hawks for a third successive time to take a big lead.
The Cavs were in fine form last night yet again as they connected 21 times from beyond the arc on their way to a 121-108 win in Atlanta.
Cleveland have been playing some truly exceptional basketball as of late and it seems that LeBron James, waxing lyrical about them after game three and claiming they are destined for greatness.
"We're a team that's destined for greatness and I really believe that," James said following the big win.
"And we have a mission, you know, and we have another chapter and our goal’s on Sunday. So we look forward to the challenge," James added.
With their win on Friday, the Cavaliers became just the 11th team to start the playoffs 7-0.
The Cavaliers were expected to comfortably make the Eastern Conference finals, but it wasn't supposed to be quite this easy. Their real test will come if they make it to the NBA Finals, facing whichever Western Conference foe steps up to the plate.
For now, however, James and the Cavaliers can rest up ahead of game four at the Phillips Arena, and potentially start to dream about their destiny.
