Almost three weeks ago, one of the biggest shocks in recent years occurred during a WWE NXT live event in Lowell, Massachusetts, as Finn Balor lost the NXT Championship to Samoa Joe.
Since that date, many fans and critics alike thought The Demon would soon be making the jump from the WWE's developmental division to the main roster, with some believing it would come at Payback.
But when the company's first pay-per-view since WrestleMania came and went, there was still no sign of Balor, leading several people to wonder when the big day would be coming for the Irish superstar.

Balor is now scheduled to have his rematch for the NXT Championship against Joe at NXT TakeOver: Revenge on June 8, a clash which he is being highly tipped to lose due to him possibly making his main roster debut soon. Recent rumors have even suggested he could be making the jump from developmental before this title bout.
According to Cageside Seats: "While there have been plenty of rumors surrounding Finn Balor getting called up to the main roster, apparently the date to look out for is the May 23 episode of Raw."
On May 23 in two weeks time, Monday Night Raw will be at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Several superstars have already been advertised for the show including Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Chris Jericho, as well as Balor's former Bullet Club stablemates AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows.
WWE pay-per-view Extreme Rules also takes place the night before at the Prudential Center in
Newark, New Jersey, where The Big Dog and The Phenomenal One will be competing once more in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
With the stipulation of this match being Extreme Rules, it leaves it open to possible outside interference. With so much tension between Reigns and The Usos with Styles, Anderson, and Gallows, some sort of interference in the clash is bound to happen.
While Anderson and Gallows might be preoccupied with The Usos if they try to interfere in the championship match, Balor could arrive and bring the numbers game to Styles' side to try and help him walk out with the title. He could even stop The Phenomenal One from winning the championship as well. The Demon could then make his official debut the following night on Raw to explain his actions, whatever they may be.
The Irishman is highly tipped to be the next big star in the WWE, possibly reaching the same kind of heights as Daniel Bryan, so a big debut is needed if he is going to be booked to reach that goal. WWE fans love the demon facepaint persona of Balor, and hopefully it won't be long until we see it on the main roster.
