Considering the fact that WWE have had multiple instances of current superstars speaking their minds on how they have been treated by the company, together with, ongoing disputes they have with the company, it is likely that WWE will bow to the pressure and consider firing more of their main roster talents.

WWE fans were glued to their laptops on Friday afternoon as no fewer than eight superstars were released by the company.

The likes of Damien Sandow, Wade Barrett, Hornswoggle and Cameron all said goodbye to the WWE after being told their contracts wouldn't be getting renewed.

Four others joined the aforementioned, but with the current sagas involved with the WWE, there could be more firings on the way.

Here are five superstars that could be facing uncertain futures with the WWE.

Ryback

In light of the recent mass firings in WWE, Ryback might be the next man to go if WWE’s recent actions are anything to go by.

He has recently been very low on the PPV cards, often performing on the pre-show, and has been consistently jobbing to United States champion Kalisto.

Ryback recently disputed his contract and claimed that WWE superstars should have equal pay regardless of their spot on the match card.

Adam Rose

Other superstars include Adam Rose, who will of course not be terminated right now as he is disputing the alleged accusations that he violated WWE’s Wellness Policy.

However, WWE is known to punish its superstars when they do not act according to their expectations.

In the past, WWE have punished superstars by; booking them low on the card, booking them in dangerous matches, creating bizarre or strange storylines for them (for instance, former WWE superstar Perry Saturn was punished by having to cut promos with a mop, known fondly as ‘Moppy’ by many fans), taking away opportunities such as title shots or cutting their appearances from WWE programming and live events altogether.

This could mean that further down the line we might see Adam Rose become another former superstar, should WWE decide to terminate more of its roster.

Other potential superstars?

There are of course many superstars on the roster who are simply being used in a wasteful way. For example, the social outcasts – Heath Slater, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas.

The trio are not receiving any meaningful or compelling storylines or being given any clear opportunities in the company.

Instead, they appear to be given very drab and unimaginative gimmicks in order to fill up segments.

If WWE are to make more firings this year, who should be next on their released list? Have YOUR say in the comment section below!
