It has been a long time since Blair Walsh and his missed field goal ended the Minnesota Vikings' 2015 season.
Since then, we have seen the Vikings draft Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to help the team with their red-zone efficiency in 2016.
Looking to go even further
The Vikings were just one made field goal away from a wildcard play-off win over the Seattle Seahawks last year but then the unthinkable happened.

It was considered to be just a chip shot for Walsh who somehow managed to hit the ball wide of the sticks.
But with a new season comes new hope for the reigning NFC North champions and their shining star has make some bold claims for how high the Vikings can fly next season.
Last season's leading rusher Adrian Peterson has had his say on the Vikings' upcoming season and he thinks the Vikings have all that they need.
"Sit back and watch. Sit back and watch. You can be like, 'I thought you guys were at least a couple of years away.' Nope. You sit back and watch, this year." - Peterson on the Vikings' chances in 2016
Peterson made an incredible return to the league last year and now he looks ready to lead the Vikings once again in 2016.
With his sights surely set on an appearance at Super Bowl LI, Peterson believes that his team have what it takes to go all the way.
Although they will face some tough competition.
A packed conference
The Vikings are set to compete in a very tough NFC conference this year with last year's 15-1 Carolina Panthers aiming for a return trip to the Super Bowl.
The Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and a Green Bay Packers side boosted by the return of star wide receiver Jordy Nelson will all test the quality of the Vikings.
Minnesota do have a lot to boast though with the likes of Peterson, Teddy Bridgewater and now Treadwell to lead their offense.
