How WWE should bring back Seth Rollins

Published 12 Comments

Back in Autumn of last year, WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins was injured during a house show in Ireland during the European tour. Due to the severe nature of the injury, and the recovery time needed, Rollins was forced to relinquish the title.

In his absence, his former Shield brother, Roman Reigns has obtained the title, much to the annoyance of the vocal sections of the WWE audience.

In the past few weeks, Reigns has begun showing some characteristics which a heel would demonstrate, while not officially turning. He's 'not a good guy, not a bad guy, he's the guy'.

Sooner rather than later, WWE are going to have to bring back Rollins, and here is a possible way they could do it.

In the weeks building up to the match, Reigns and Triple H/Vince McMahon will become closer. Perhaps Vince would be more eager to have Reigns as champ rather than AJ Styles due to his size and image.

During these segments you could maybe hear a phone call where Triple H is saying to an unknown caller "just calm down, you're not ready yet. I decide when you're ready".

In the weeks proceeding, Raw and SmackDown could air vignettes for an up and coming masked luchador, let's just call him El Hombre.

El Hombre would talk about how he's coming to the WWE to prove he's the greatest masked wrestler in the world. Sin Cara and Kalisto would take offence and claim they are ready for the challenge.

In the build up to SummerSlam, Reigns will finally turn full heel and align himself with Vince as their champion. At Vince's orders Reigns would then destroy Dean Ambrose, putting him through a table. Suddenly unfamiliar generic Mexican music hits, out runs El Hombre and he starts beating on Reigns, knocking him to his hands and knees.

Hombre hits the ropes, and Curb Stomp. Hombre removes his mask and it's Seth Rollins.

It could turn out Triple H signed El Hombre at the advice of Jamie Noble and the whole thing was set up due to The Game not wanting Seth's comeback to upstage his new alliance with Reigns.

This sets up a match at SummerSlam between Rollins and Reigns and so on.

However they bring Seth back, let's hope it happens soon. The WWE really misses him at the moment and are lacking in star quality in this 'new era'.
