A number of Arsenal fans are still getting over their side's failed title bid, but it appears that manager Arsene Wenger is already plotting for next season.
As reported by The Sun, the Gunners chief, who has endured a tricky time in north London recently, is reportedly set to swoop for three players in the next transfer window.
Last summer's transfer activity frustrated the Emirates faithful, of course, as the club failed to secure an outfield player. They did, however, land goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea, but clearly that wasn't enough.

But it appears that everything could change this summer. Indeed, the report from The Sun claims that the Arsenal hierarchy could spend as much as £80 million on the trio of Granit Xhaka, Alvaro Morata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Xhaka, who is currently starring for German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach, is rated at around £30 million. The Swiss international, 23, has enjoyed a fine campaign and is recognised as one of the leading young midfielders in Europe.
Morata, meanwhile, has struggled to hold down a regular place at Italian giants Juventus this term, but it's clear for all to see that he has a great deal of ability and there's no reason why he wouldn't be able to thrive in north London.
Mkhitaryan, too, is recognised as a top player and would only improve the Gunners in the midfield department. At 27-years-old, the Borussia Dortmund ace is in the prime of his career and would prove fine coup for the Gunners.
Nicholas has his say
It remains to be seen as to whether the Gunners will press ahead for the trio, but former player Charlie Nicholas has made his feelings clear ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.
Taking to Sky Sports, he stated: "A lot has obviously been made of Arsenal's striker problems over the last few months, but the most important frailty in the team is at central defence.
"There's a soft centre to the team where one bad mistake at the back leads to chaos and throwing away points. It's been the same for years now.
"If Arsene Wenger was to go out and sign one world class player then I'd want him to make it a central defender.
"I'd like to see him go for Real Madrid's Raphael Varane, who fits Wenger's mould in being French and still relatively young, although he has not got a great record of developing defenders.
"Winning games 1-0 is a trademark of champions and something Arsenal just don't do enough."
