Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that Saturday’s Ligue 1 match against Nantes will be his final game for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sweden international is leaving the Parc des Princes after four years and could, according to reports late on Thursday night, be on his way to LA Galaxy this summer despite rumoured interest from Manchester United.

French publication L’Equipe - per French football writer Matt Spiro - understand that PSG want to sign Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo or Barcelona’s Neymar as a replacement for Zlatan, but landing either of those superstars is unlikely.

Subsequently, PSG are expected to make a move for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

The France international has an €80 million release clause in his contract but that’s unlikely to deter the oil-rich Parisians.

Griezmann has been superb at Atletico

Griezmann has been magnificent since joining Atletico from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2014.

In 104 appearances for the Colchoneros, the versatile 25-year-old forward has netted 56 goals.

However, it remains to be seen whether Griezmann would be tempted to leave Atletico for a club in Ligue 1 at this stage in his career.

Balague: Griezmann will consider his options

Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague revealed at the end of last month that while Griezmann plans on staying at Atletico, he will wait to see what offers he receives over the coming weeks before deciding his future.

“Antoine Griezmann is perhaps the only one [of the current Atletico Madrid squad] in doubt,” Balague told Sky Sports. “Simeone wants to take the team to the new stadium next season and Griezmann isn't rushing to leave either - but he's going to wait and see what offers arrive, and then take a decision.”

United and Chelsea keen on Griezmann

Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with a summer move for Griezmann, despite doubts over whether the forward possesses the required physique to shine in the Premier League.

The Daily Mail reported in April that sources close to the Atleti star believe he is “not ready for a move to England”.

However, the success of Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez this season is evidence that players with similar body types are more than capable of flourishing in England’s top division.

Ronaldo or Neymar unlikely to join PSG

Ronaldo, meanwhile, has been linked with a move to PSG throughout this season but a transfer seems unlikely because of the obscene amount of money it would cost to prise him away from the Bernabeu.

And Neymar wants to stay with Barcelona, despite the fact the past couple of months have been somewhat difficult for the Brazil international.
