The WWE is a weird and wacky place where over the top characters thrive in a way they wouldn't anywhere else in wrestling.
It's why Hurricane Helms had a feud with The Rock, why Owen Hart paraded around as The Blue Blazer and it is why The Social Outcasts currently exist in the WWE.
Well, now we could be set to see two of the WWE's most extravagant superstars teaming up, as it has been hinted that Fandango and Tyler Breeze could be joining forces.

Thursday night's edition of WWE SmackDown saw the brand new tag teams of 'Goldango' - consisting of Goldust and Fandango - and 'The Gorgeous Truth' - made up of Tyler Breeze and R-Truth - immediately split up.
Breeze and Fandango both turned on their partners as Tyler threw R-Truth between the ropes outside the ring and Fandango hit a big lariat on his partner before Breeze got the cover on Goldust for the win.

Fandango hinted at a possible alliance with Tyler on Smackdown Fallout, telling Tom Phillips that he wasn't the real loser despite his team technically having lost the match.
"Did I really lose, Timothy? Did I?"
This is likely the mid-way point of a storyline that has been running for over a month now, which has seen Goldust and R-Truth trying to become tag-team partners before letting their pride get in the way and finding other partners.
With Truth and 'Dust both being attacked, it looks for certain like they are going to start teaming up now, much to the delight of fans who have had to sit through this long, drawn-out affair.
Naturally, they will almost certainly now face off against Breeze and Fandango - who really need a catchy tag team name - in a match that will almost certainly be on the pre-show at Extreme Rules or maybe even conclude at just some Monday Night RAW down the line.
Whatever happens, neither of these teams will likely challenge for the WWE World Tag Team Championships anytime soon. With The New Day, Enzo and Cass, The Usos, The Vaudevillains and Gallows and Anderson all in the mix, they have no chance of making it to the top and getting the straps round their waists.
