Manchester United are the clear favourites to sign Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
This has been reported by the Telegraph, who claim that the enigmatic 34-year-old striker has decided that he finally wants to ply his trade on English soil.
Ibrahimovic today confirmed on social media that he will leave the club at the end of the campaign, which has led to a great deal of speculation surrounding his future in the game.

Unsurprisingly, a whole host of clubs have been linked with his signature, but it appears that Manchester United are on course to bring him to England.
Indeed, the report claims that the player's agent, Mino Raiola, has been in extensive talks with the Old Trafford hierarchy over a move ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
Incredibly, the report also suggests that the veteran wants as much as £300,000-a-week, but it's far from certain as to whether the Red Devils would pay such a large sum.
The potential signing of Ibrahimovic would, of course, be a short-term solution for United, but there should be no underestimating his ability.
He may well be approaching the latter stages of his career, but he's still recognised as one of the leading strikers in world football.
His statistics in Ligue 1 back up that notion as he has struck as many as 36 goals this term - 15 more than any other player in the division.
He would certainly represent a significant signing for United, who have struggled in the striker department throughout the course of the campaign.
Captain Wayne Rooney has endured a tricky time with injuries, while manager Louis van Gaal has opted to move him back into midfield recently.
Youngsters Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford look destined for greatness, but they still have a lot to learn in the pursuit of success.
It's clear for all to see that the dynamic at Old Trafford could completely change this summer, but it certainly looks set to be an exciting period for the club.
With the future of Van Gaal still uncertain, there's still a chance that Jose Mourinho and Ibrahimovic will be leading the way at United next season. That really would change everything.
