Carlo Ancelotti hasn't even arrived in Germany yet, but it appears that he has already made a decision over the future of one Bayern Munich star.
The Sun report that the incoming Bayern boss has decided that playmaker Mario Gotze is not part of his plans for the 2016/17 campaign.
In fact, the report suggests that the experienced coach has already given his former club Chelsea a tip-off over the player's availability.

Indeed, if the report is to be believed, Ancelotti alerted the west London club weeks ago, while it has been suggested that the hierarchy have already acted on the situation.
The report indicates that the Blues have held discussions with Gotze's representatives over a move to the club in the upcoming transfer window.
It remains to be seen as to whether they will be able to get the deal over the line, but it won't necessarily be easy for the club to secure the World Cup-winning midfielder's signature.
That's because The Sun claim that Bayern are demanding a fee in the region of £35 million, while Chelsea's Premier League rivals Liverpool are also in the hunt for the player.
Gotze, of course, previously starred under the guidance of Reds chief Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, but it appears that the Merseyside club are behind in the race to bring him to England.
Considering Klopp has a fine relationship with Gotze and the fact that Liverpool could secure a place in next season's Champions League competition if they overcome Sevilla in the Europa League final on Wednesday night, it would come as a surprise if the player opted for Stamford Bridge.
But with Antonio Conte incoming at Chelsea, it appears that the dynamic in west London is set to change in the immediate future.
After securing the Premier League title with ease last term, Chelsea have endured a torrid defence, but there's every chance that they will return to prominence under the new regime.
A couple of key additions will help the club, of course, but the saga involving Gotze may have only just begun.
For now, though, the club will be hoping to end this turbulent season on a high with a victory over newly crowned Premier League champions Leicester City this weekend.
