Jose Mourinho is still the overwhelming favourite to become the new Manchester United manager, despite reports linking him with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain and Everton.
It’s no secret that the Portuguese coach has long coveted the manager’s job at Old Trafford and reports have claimed he has a gentleman’s agreement in place with the Premier League giants to take over when Louis van Gaal leaves the club.
Sky Sports tracked down Mourinho this week and asked if this was true. Scroll down this page to see what the man himself had to say.

The 53-year-old bumped into a waiting Sky Sports journalist after walking out of a hotel and was asked: “Jose, can we just ask you, is there any news on a job? Anything with Manchester United yet?”
"I go to Montreal for the Grand Prix with a sponsor and keep enjoying my life,” he responded.
Asked: “No agreement with Man U?”
The former Chelsea boss replied: “Nobody.”
Mourinho said something similar in Mexico last week
Mourinho managed a FIFA Legends team in Mexico City last week and was asked something similar.
On that occasion, he joked that he might struggle to find a potential new employer after his side were beaten 9-8 by a Mexican All-Star team.
Mourinho also made headlines during the same match for running onto the pitch and getting a cheeky touch of the ball; he seems to have rediscovered his spark and sense of humour following a six-month break from management.
Man Utd fans want Van Gaal gone
The majority of Manchester United fans are hoping Mourinho arrives at Old Trafford this summer, if only to shake things up following Van Gaal’s dour two-year reign.
Even if United win the FA Cup final on Saturday, it’s hard to imagine too many supporters begging Ed Woodward and the Glazer family to allow the veteran Dutch coach to see out the final year of his contract.
Van Gaal’s primary objective this term was to ensure a second successive season in the Champions League.
In order for that to happen, though, Manchester United must defeat Bournemouth by 19 clear goals this evening.
If it is Mourinho who walks through the doors of Old Trafford this summer, he will lead the Red Devils out in the Europa League at the start of next season.
