Manchester United finally brought the curtain down on a disappointing Premier League campaign with a routine 3-1 win against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Thousands of empty seats were seen around Old Trafford as the effects of Sunday's abandoned fixture took hold. Scores of fans found that they were unable to attend the hastily rearranged season finale, leaving the famous ground emptier than it has been in a long time.
Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford and Ashley Young contributed to the victory with a Chris Smalling own goal gifting the Cherries a consolation with the final kick of the game.

As with David Moyes, the Dutchman is believed to have a clause in his contract allowing Manchester United to terminate his contract with minimal compensation.
Mourinho, as per Sky Sports, has been told that if United do indeed sack Van Gaal, the job will be his.
