Real, on the other hand, are perhaps easier on the eye, and boast superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema. Los Blancos will lift an unrivalled 11th European Cup if they beat their city rivals.
Los Blancos will lift an unrivalled 11th European Cup if they beat their city rivals.
However, Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has made no bones about who he thinks deserve to win the competition.

"If there's any justice, Atletico Madrid will win the Champions League", he told Italian publication La Gazetta Dello Sport.
Recalling the 2014 final between the two Spanish clubs, the legendary stopper added:
"Two years ago Atletico were unfortunate to lose, conceding a goal in the 93rd minute from Sergio Ramos."
Atletico were 1-0 up in that game, but Ramos' equaliser sent the game to extra time, and goals from Bale, Marcelo, and Ronaldo clinched it for Madrid.
This time around, though, Buffon thinks the La Liga runners-up could be stumped by Atletico, who have come a long way in the last two years.
"Real have more experience in these types of games, but I wouldn't be surprised if Atletico win because of their style of play", he said.
Once the Champions League is over, all eyes will turn to Euro 2016, but Buffon admits Italy are not among the favourites to win the tournament.
Gli Azzurri will be missing Marco Verratti and Buffon's Juve team-mate Claudio Marchisio, which the veteran goalkeeper thinks could make the difference.
"I believe that Spain, Germany, and France are without doubt the three favourites", he said, also suggesting Belgium could be a surprise package.
