Is Manziel officially done with the NFL?.

Johnny Manziel offered new role as nightclub host

Published 1 Comments

The NFL career of Johnny Manziel has been nothing short of controversial and now that it looks like his career is all but over, it just gets even more interesting.

The former Cleveland Browns quarterback was released by the team this off-season and has failed to find a new home given his large amount of off the field problems.

A new role?

Manziel may not be able to attract the attention of an NFL team, but he hasn't struggled to find the attention of the paparazzi or more importantly, nightclub owners.

Manziel's reputation for drinking heavily and his love of partying is arguably the main reason why he is no longer in the NFL, but it could have opened up another door for him.

Nightclub and restaurant ambassador Jason Strauss is supposedly trying to convince Johnny Football to become a VIP Host.

Despite his history of domestic violence and heavy drinking, Strauss clearly feels that he is the right man to draw a crowd.

It seems right now that it would take a miraculous turn around for Manziel to ever find another NFL job, so could this be a new avenue for a career for Manziel?

Manziel is currently in some legal trouble following his arrest due to a domestic violence incident between him and his former girlfriend.

He has been spending a long time in Dallas this off-season which have led to many rumours that he could be in line for a move to the Dallas Cowboys.

It now looks like even Jerry Jones isn't brave enough to take the risk on Manziel and there were few other teams mentioned.

No way back?

The former Texas A&M quarterback is now out of work and despite the need for quarterbacks around the NFL being wide reaching, no team looks set to take a chance on Manziel.

Robert Griffin III, Brian Hoyer and Mark Sanchez have all found new teams this off-season and with rookies like Carson Wentz and Jared Goff now in the league, there is very little room for a character like Manziel.
