Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger appears to be concerned with the influence Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have at board level.
This has been documented in The Sun, who claim that the club's star duo have realised just how powerful they are at the Emirates.
Both players have been involved in contract negotiations with the club recently, but it appears that they are hoping to seek assurances over the club's plans before putting pen to paper.

Indeed, the same report suggests that they are hoping to see Wenger spend big this summer in an attempt to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
The Gunners' failed title charge left fans disappointed this term as they finished 10 points behind champions Leicester City.
Failed title charge
Arsenal managed to secure second spot in the division, but they failed push Claudio Ranieri's side all the way despite having arguably the most complete squad in England.
Ozil and Sanchez are clearly two of best players currently operating in the Premier League, but it remains to be seen as to whether they will remain at the club for the long-term.
It's clear for all to see that Arsenal must keep the aforementioned duo; Germany international Ozil was today named Arsenal's Player of the Season by fans for his outstanding performances during the course of the campaign.
He racked up 20 assists and netted six goals from 45 outings but failed to help the club deliver a trophy.
"Few will forget his performance in the 3-0 defeat of Manchester United in early October, nor his outstanding contribution during a golden period that took in victories against Bayern Munich, Everton and Swansea City as the Gunners moved to the top of the table," Arsenal stated on their official website.
Wenger may well have a concern over Ozil and Sanchez, but he mustn't underestimate just how important they are to the cause. Without them performing at their best, the Gunners aren't going to deliver Wenger that elusive Premier League title next season.
Additions must be made in the transfer window, of course - Swiss international Granit Xhaka appears to be on his way to the club - but it's vital that the club tie their best players down to new deals. It looks set to be an interesting summer for all involved.
