Manchester United winger Memphis Depay is reportedly furious after being left out of the squad to face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final today.

This has been documented by Goal.com, who claim that his mood has soured since being told in a face-to-face meeting with Louis van Gaal that he won't be involved against the Eagles.

The report claims, however, that the former PSV man stayed at Carrington to wish his teammates good luck ahead of their departure on Friday afternoon.

In all honesty, he may never come to prominence under Van Gaal. Angel di Maria experienced a tricky time under him last season and duly left the club behind in favour of Ligue 1 outfit PSG.
