Jamie Carragher cheekily asked Bayern Munich star Philipp Lahm if he could persuade him to join Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
During a Q&A session for the Daily Mail, the Germany international told Carragher that he watches the Premier League now Klopp's there but has insisted that he will not be moving to English soil anytime soon.
He has, however, admitted that his Bayern teammate - and former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso - has told him all about life on Merseyside.

Here's how the conversation played out:
Carragher: "I played only for Liverpool and never thought of going elsewhere. What stopped you from trying La Liga, Serie A or England?"
Lahm not joining Liverpool
Lahm: "I came here when I was 12. I always thought about what would happen if I left and Bayern went on to win the Champions League. I didn’t want that so I stayed with my club and all my team-mates I’d grown up with to win the Champions League. That was my main target."
Carragher: "So I can’t talk you into joining Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool?!"
Lahm: "(laughs) Not this time! I watch the English league more now Klopp’s there. The atmosphere is incredible and Xabi Alonso has told me about the fantastic atmosphere at Liverpool but I’m going nowhere."
Klopp transfer plans
Let's be honest, the Bayern captain was never going to complete a move to Anfield this summer, but Reds fans will be hoping to see Klopp deliver in the transfer window.
Liverpool may well be on the up under the guidance of the former Borussia Dortmund manager, but it's clear for all to see that they need to add two or three top names sooner rather than later.
A couple of strong additions should stand them in good stead next season in their pursuit of challenging for a place in the top four.
