Real weren’t helped by the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo was anonymous during the entire 90 minutes, rarely getting involved in the match.
There were concerns about the Portuguese’s fitness ahead of the final in Milan and it appeared that the 31-year-old was far from match-fit.

Not only could that be identified in his performance but the fact that he allowed Gareth Bale to take almost every free-kick was obvious that he wasn’t 100% confident in my fitness.

However, Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world for a reason so don't put it past him to be the hero in extra-time.
