Manchester United have confirmed that striker Marcus Rashford has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 18-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a new deal which keeps him at Old Trafford until at least the summer of 2012 with an option to extend the deal by a further year.
Rashford, who only made his debut for the club, back in February, enjoyed a remarkable few months in the United first-team.

Indeed, the forward netted eight goals from 17 appearances - including strikes against Arsenal and Manchester City.
Incredibly, Rashford secured his first England cap against Australia on Friday and managed to find the back of the net inside just two minutes. Now, then, after a wonderful few months, the teenager has been duly reward with a new deal.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has paid tribute to Rashford, claiming that he has 'a great future ahead of him'.
Woodward stated: "Marcus is a naturally talented footballer with great potential. He has taken his chances well and has integrated into the first team very quickly. I am delighted that Marcus has signed a new contract, he is at the right club to continue his development. He is still very young and we need to be patient but he is developing in the right way and we believe he has a great future ahead of him."
Rashford, meanwhile, has admitted that he's 'delighted' to have signed a new deal with the Red Devils.
He stated: "I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I have always been a Manchester United fan, so to be playing in the first team really is a dream come true.
"I am grateful for having the chance to prove myself. To be able to play football at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family."

United have since announced that defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has also signed a new deal with the club. Like Rashford, Borthwick-Jackson's deal looks set to keep him at the club until at least 2020.
