When a video emerged of Willian looking seriously overweight earlier this week, Chelsea fans were understandably concerned.

The midfielder is on international duty with Brazil as they begin their Copa America campaign tomorrow morning.

Despite the Premier League only finishing a matter of weeks ago, it appeared Willian had been gorging on the cakes during his short break.

Some fans were understandably worried about his physique ahead of next season.

But fear not Chelsea supporters. Willian has just posted an image on his Instagram baring his six-pack. It’s safe to say he is far from fat.

It must have been a dodgy camera angle that made Willian look severely overweight and Blues’ fans will be relieved with this latest image.

Willian and his Brazil teammates take on Ecuador tomorrow morning in their opening fixture of Copa America held in the United States.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a sensational reunion with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United after the Portuguese took over the reigns at Old Trafford.

But Willian responded to the rumours by saying: “I don’t think about that," he said.

"I’m here on Copa America duty with Brazil and I’m not here to do interviews about other things.”

Asked if he plans to extend his Chelsea contract, which is up in 2018, Willian replied: “That is something my agent deals with.”
