Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has decided to offload Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera.
This has been reported by El Confidencial, who claim that the self-proclaimed Special One has told Ed Woodward that Herrera does not a have a future at Old Trafford.
Herrera, 26, has endured a tricky couple of seasons in Manchester, often failing to establish himself as a key player for the club.

Time and time again under the Louis van Gaal regime, the versatile midfielder found himself on the bench.
And now, then, it appears that a ruthless Mourinho is set to take action. Indeed, there's every chance that the former Athletic Club player will be sold before the start of the new campaign.
After the Red Devils failed to stamp their mark on the Premier League title race last season - they finished in fifth position - it's not exactly surprising that Mourinho looks destined to change the dynamic of his new side.
Is Mourinho set to make the right decision?
The big question, of course, is whether Mourinho is set to make the right decision over Herrera's future. Does the Spaniard deserve an opportunity to prove his credentials under the Portuguese tactician?
It's a tough question to answer. Herrera clearly has a lot to give, but he's just not been able to express himself on a consistent basis at the Theatre of Dreams. In fact, Herrera only managed to complete the full 90 minutes in the Premier League on eight occasions last term.
In truth, he's probably not a Mourinho-type player. He most definitely isn't in the same mould as the likes of Michael Essien and Nemanja Matic, who have previously played for him.
The only real problem for Mourinho is convincing United supporters that moving Herrera on is the best thing to do. For one reason or another, Herrera is a fans' favourite at the Theatre of Dreams and the United faithful are seemingly desperate to see him succeed.
There's clearly a long way to go in the saga at this stage, of course, but United fans may have seen Herrera play for the club for the final time.
If Herrera does depart then Mourinho will have to find an adequate replacement. The ex-Chelsea boss is expected to make a number of additions in Manchester over the coming months and must get this transfer window right.
