The WWE locker room is a very weird place, with competing egos and personalities going against each other all the time.
From the very top - Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie and co. - to the superstars like John Cena and The Undertaker, there is a definite hierarchy behind the scenes at the WWE where stepping out of line is looked down upon.
With so many wrestlers and employees stepping on eggshells all the time as not to pick up any heat backstage, it would be weird for a new superstar to come in and immediately become one of the big personalities. But that's exactly what Luke Gallows has done.

The reason why Gallows is managing to become so popular backstage? Well, in complete contrast to his onstage character, the man himself is incredibly laid back and funny.
"In an environment where there's often a feeling of walking on eggshells and where everyone is worried about their jobs, Gallows lightens the mood a little bit and brings a levity to the locker room," they added.
Lightening the Mood
However, just because Gallows is able to make people feel comfortable and have a good time, that doesn't mean that the former New Japan Pro Wrestling star is taking anything for granted, being lazy or just not taking the job of a WWE wrestler seriously.
"It's not that Gallows is goofing off or not taking his job serious, it was described as a situation where his demeanor and the way he speaks lightens the mood and helps to make being backstage a more enjoyable experience for everyone."
Just watch the video of Gallows below, where he is talking about trying out for WWE's Tough Enough as a completely green guy trying to make it. Warning, it does contain some rather non-PG language
From that alone, it is easy to see why people like him. He's not afraid to make fun of himself, laugh at himself, and seems super relaxed and easy-going.
So, if Luke Gallows gets a pretty big push anytime soon, you know the reason why.
