Professional wrestling is scripted entertainment, with pre-determined winners and losers. It is 2016 and absolutely everyone knows this.
Well, maybe not everyone. That is because a story has made the news recently about a woman who pulled a gun on a wrestler in the middle of a match. Yes, this is real.
According to a report from Adam Cook of northwest Georgia news, a woman got worked so hard in a match by a heel wrestler that she felt the need to pull her gun on him, while the match was still going on.

Apparently, the woman in question - Patricia Anne Crowe - attended an American Wrestling Federation event in Georgia where she threatened and attacked Paul Lee, a wrestler and the promoter of the show.
According to Lee and several witnesses, he was participating in a match with 'Iron Mann' when Crowe attacked.

Working the Crowd
Lee, who was playing the heel, had been shouting at and insulting the crowd during the match to try and get as much heat as possible, and it looks like it worked perfectly.
After insulting Crowe while outside the ring, Lee returned to the match where he had his opponent tied up and was pounding on him. That wasn't the end of things for Crowe though as she started shouting at Lee some more.
Lee says he told Crowe “to sit her toothless self back down,” and that she then approached the ring with a knife.
“I had him tied up and was beating on him, and this lady jumps up with a knife, cuts him loose, and then pulled a loaded gun on me,” Lee said.
“She had that thing loaded with one in the chamber and the safety off. All it would have taken was for her to get shaky with that thing and it could have fired.”
Crowe was arrested by police on charges of aggravated assault and reckless conduct. Crowe admitted she pulled the gun on Lee because of the back and forth the two had engaged in.
“Ms. Crowe did indeed pull the gun on Mr. Lee because of the way he’d talked to her,” a policeman said.
“She said, ‘he was talking mean to me, and I got mad. I guess I just let my temper get the best of me and I pulled my pistol on him’.”
There are some WWE stars who would do a lot for that kind of heat. They probably wouldn't fancy getting a gun pulled on them, though.
