Juventus have reportedly put a €140 million price tag on Paul Pogba’s head.

Which means Real Madrid will have to raise some funds if they are to sign the French star.

The sale of winger Denis Cheryshev to Villarreal was announced this week and it is thought that as many as 13 more players could leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, either on loan or on permanent deals.

Zinedine Zidane is looking to reshape his squad and there’s no doubt president Florentino Perez will have more trust in the former Madrid midfielder to make the right moves after he guided Los Blancos to Champions League glory in his first season at the helm.

Spanish outlet Sport have identified 13 players who Zidane will look to flog in the transfer window and among them are Isco and James Rodriguez.

The pair of creative midfielders have struggled to shine in Madrid. Isco scored just three goals in 42 appearances last season while James, a £63 million signing from Monaco in 2014, was inconsistent throughout the campaign.

The Colombian has expressed his desire to stay and fight for a place in the starting line-up but Sport claim Madrid will listen to offers of €80m.

Another first-team player who could depart is Jese Rodriguez. The 23-year-old is close to joining Espanyol on loan and his team-mate Lucas Vazquez, who spent the 2014-15 season at Espanyol, has encouraged the move.

“I wish [Jese] well and of course I would advise [him] to go to Espanyol, my experience there was phenomenal,” Vazquez told Cadena COPE, per Sport.

Odegaard

Another high-profile name potentially on his way out, and one that might upset a few Madrid fans, is Martin Odegaard.

The Norwegian arrived in Spain as a 16-year-old in 2015 with an enormously high reputation. So good is Odegaard tipped to be that he immediately joined in with the first-team’s training sessions.

He’s also the youngest debutant in Madrid’s history, replacing Cristiano Ronaldo in a game against Getafe last year at the age of 16 years and 157 days.

But Sport believe Odegaard will look to leave in order to continue his development. It makes perfect sense - he spent last season at Real Madrid Castilla and Zidane clearly feels now is the time to let the midfielder fly his wings elsewhere.

The other players included in the supposed clear-out are Diego Llorente, Lucas Silva, Borja Mayoral, Mateo Kovacic, Nacho Fernandez, Marco Asensio, Burgui, Marcos Llorente and Jesus Vallejo.

You’ve got to admire the way in which Zidane has settled into the hot seat at Madrid. He only arrived in January but clearly knows how he wants his team to look.
