Real Madrid have been offered the services of Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante, according to reports in Spain.
The midfielder, who was key in helping Leicester claim the Premier League title last term, has earned praise for his performances at Euro 2016 with France, and has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been keen to praise the 25-year-old's performances this summer, fuelling speculation that a transfer swoop could be imminent.

"He [Kante] is everywhere. He is especially intelligent. He is always on the move but always where he needs to be," The Frenchman said.
"Sometimes you say to yourself, ‘why are you going there?’, and then he is able to retrieve a ball that nobody expected him to recover.

"After 20 minutes [against Albania] I had already counted three fantastic interceptions. In Europe, the best defensive midfielders make four per game. He is above six, generally. This is exceptional."
However, there's a chance that Arsenal could well miss out to Real Madrid in the race for his signature.
Spanish newspaper AS report this morning that Kante has been offered to the Spanish giants, who are contemplating a move of their own.
It's not quite as simple as that, however. Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is said to be undecided on the transfer, despite the fact he is available for relatively cheap thanks to his £20 million release clause, because he's been so impressed by Casemiro.
The Brazilian put in a sterling performance in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid and, despite being far from a fan favourite, has emerged as an integral part of Zidane's team.
Working in Kante's favour is the comparison with former Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele, a point emphasised by Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri.
"He is quiet but he can improve a lot because he can play like a central midfielder like when I had Makelele [at Chelsea]. Sometimes I put him in wide positions because I want him on the pitch.
‘If you remember well, Makelele was a winger at the beginning of his career and then he came inside for Celta Vigo in Spain, then with Real Madrid and then with us at Chelsea. I think Kante can achieve this position. He is a very good midfielder. When we all watch the video of him chasing the ball everybody says “Wow!”’
