Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could make a surprise move for Manchester United defender Daley Blind.
This has been reported by the Mirror, who claim that Blind has emerged as a transfer target for the Gunners.
Blind, 26, enjoyed a prominent period at the heart of United's defence last season, but it appears that his future at the club is now uncertain with Jose Mourinho in charge.

The Special One replaced Louis van Gaal at the helm after the Red Devils triumphed in the FA Cup, and he has already added Ivory Coast international Eric Bailly to his back-line.
It appears, then, that Blind could leave the Old Trafford outfit before the start of the 2016/17 campaign, with the same report from the Mirror claiming that Mourinho thinks he is too small to play at the back.
It remains to be seen as to whether Arsene Wenger and co. will swoop for the versatile Dutchman, but it most definitely looks set to be an interesting period for all involved.
Blind only insisted last week that he was looking forward to working with Mourinho at Old Trafford.
He told NOS, as per the Mirror: "I am looking forward to working with Mourinho. We will have to wait and see whether anything changes for me.
"I will just give my all and work hard. Mourinho is a manager who has achieved a lot and I am keen to work with him.
"I might not be as big as Pepe, but I think I have shown in the Premier League that I can hold my own defensively. We conceded the fewest goals in the Premier League and I think we got the most clean sheets.
"That's something to be proud of. I played nearly every game and that is a good feeling.
"You might be looking for a certain statement, but I will just give my all under Mourinho."
