New Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is no stranger to pressure, having previously managed both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
His arrival at Manchester City ahead of next season continues a brilliant run of successfully managing massive football clubs.
He joins a City side in transition – the squad looks set to see a number of changes in personnel, and the Spaniard will be keen to mould the squad to his liking and make good use of the transfer window.

The faithful at the Etihad Stadium will be expecting big things of Guardiola, and can be forgiven for feeling a heightened sense of anticipation and excitement ahead of next season.
Guardiola comes with a record of success, especially from his time at Barca, and he’ll need to perform and repay some of the faith shown in him by the fans and the owners.

We’ve identified three things Guardiola must do to succeed at the Etihad.
Win the Champions League
The Champions League remains the only major trophy that has eluded Manchester City since the takeover of the club, and so far, Manuel Pellegrini has come the closest after leading them to the semi-finals last season.
Guardiola will be expected to go one step further and solidify City as consistent Champions League contenders.
With two Champions League trophies already under his belt, winning it with Manchester City will probably be a minimum target.
Consistently finish above Manchester United
When Sir Alex Ferguson referred to Manchester City as ‘noisy neighbours’, it was said with his tongue firmly in his cheek. However, there was some truth in the statement.
Since then, however, Manchester City have made strides forward and on more than one occasion since Ferguson left Old Trafford, have finished above the Red Devils.
If Guardiola can consistently ensure Manchester City finish above Manchester United in the Premier League, it will go a long way to cementing his legacy.
Dominate the Premier League
Just as he did in Spain and Germany, Guardiola will be expected to ensure City dominate the Premier League.
With his experience, and with the backing of the owners combined, consistently winning the league is a possibility.
So far, Guardiola is the most accomplished coach City have ever had and the faithful at the Etihad will want the top spot in the Premier League for a long, long time to come.
