Cristiano Ronaldo throws a reporter’s microphone in a lake

It's fair to say that Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't enjoyed himself too much at Euro 2016.

The Real Madrid superstar was initially tipped to secure the Golden Boot award at the prestigious tournament, but things just haven't taken off for him.

During Portugal's first game against Iceland, Ronaldo failed to fire and then went on to criticise the minnows. His comments certainly didn't go down too well with the watching world.

And things only got worse for him as his national side endured a frustrating evening against Austria.

Indeed, Ronaldo racked up as many as 11 shots on goal, including a penalty, but didn't find the back of the net.

Ronaldo nightmare

The 31-year-old's horror evening cost Portugal, who could only secure a 0-0 draw. Two points from two games for Portugal and no goals scored for one of the world's greatest footballers was not expected.

As you can imagine, then, Ronaldo's mood isn't too good right now.

He has a shot at redemption, of course; Portugal are set to take on Hungary this evening and can book their place in the next round of the competition with a victory. There's every chance that Ronaldo will finally produce the goods.

But right now, he is in no mood for fun and games. And the latest video to emerge has absolutely proved that notion.

As the Portugal team enjoyed a morning stroll ahead of their huge clash, a reporter approached Ronaldo to ask if he was fully prepared for the game.

Ronaldo failed to answer, instead throwing the reporter's microphone in a lake. Ouch.
