Over recent months, the WWE has seen a slightly worrying trend of stalwarts of the company opting to leave on their own accord.
The likes of Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes both chose to leave the WWE on their own terms when the organisation would likely have preferred to keep them on its books.
A rumour this week had suggested that trend was about to continue with Women's Division Superstar Natalya the latest to be linked to a self-imposed exit. Taking to social media today, the former Divas champion addressed the speculation:

As you can see from the tone of her tweet, the 34-year-old was keen to stop the rumour at source. Instead, she chose to make a joke out of the whole thing.

The report Natalya is referencing in her social media post claimed that word backstage was that the veteran Superstar was considering quitting the company when her contract expires later this year.
Supposedly, the motivating factor behind the move was as some sort of show of solidarity with her husband and fellow WWE Superstar Tyson Kidd.
Kidd, of course, has been out of action for several months now after sustaining a serious neck injury in June 2015 that he later revealed only five percent of people survive.
Only last week there were reports that Kidd would never be able to wrestle again because of the injuries and, thus, would have to leave the WWE.
Had Natalya really been considering quitting the company, the move would have echoed that made by Eden Stiles, the now former WWE announcer who left the organisation last month in the aftermath of her husband Cody Rhodes' departure.
It appears, however, that the thought of leaving couldn't be further from the mind of Natalya.
Indeed, having just been involved in a shock heel turn at last Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Nattie is more likely focussed on getting another shot at the Women's Championship rather than plotting her exit from the WWE.
The past few months have actually seen 'The Anvilette' enjoy quite a strong push from the WWE creative team, so choosing to leave would certainly have been a strange decision.
Fortunately for her fans, the speculation appears to have simply been people putting two and two together and getting five.
Whether the WWE Universe will ever get to see Natalya and Kidd on WWE TV together again remains to be seen, but at least it doesn't look like the female element of the partnership is going anywhere soon.
