Not everyone as it appears, with UFC women's fighter Paige VanZant confirming that she will be rejecting the WWE's offer to appear to Summer Slam.
VanZant wasn't shy about the speculation that WWE had approached her but has now revealed that she will be rejecting their offer in favour of another bout in the Octagon.
VanZant will now compete at UFC Fight Night in Vancouver meaning that she will be unavailable for Summer Slam due to her training regime.
"I love WWE and if they ever reached out to me again I think I would definitely love to work with them but right now I’m focused on Bec Rawlings." - VanZant on her choice to decline WWE's offer
It's not just the WWE who have been rebuffed by VanZant who has also declined a role in a movie to persue training for her next fight.
There was no definite plan for just who VanZant would have faced at Summer Slam, but given how popular the segment was the last time a UFC name got inside a wrestling ring, it surely would have led to a very popular storyline.
Another name missing?
While VanZant won't be at Summer Slam, fans can't really miss her since she's never been in the WWE before.
As for former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, he was recently suspended for 30 days after he violated the company's wellness policy.
By the time Reigns returns, the WWE Draft will have taken place so who knows what show he could end up representing and more importantly, who will be Champion when he does return?
