It's fair to say that Liverpool fans appear to be fairly split over the potential signing of Southampton winger Sadio Mane.
As reported by the BBC, the Reds could be set to pay as much as £30 million to secure the player's services in this transfer window.
Ultimately, then, Mane could represent a significant signing for Reds chief Jurgen Klopp, who will be determined to change the dynamic of his squad ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

But just how significant will Mane prove to be for the Reds? Well, the 24-year-old has expressed himself on English soil on a number of occasions over the last couple of years, but he clearly still lacks consistency and is by no means the finished article.
That's why, then, Liverpool fans could be slightly taken aback by David Anderson's latest tweet.
The Mirror journalist claims that the Reds made their move for Mane after Germany international Mario Gotze opted out of joining them.
But that's not all; he claims that Mane will be the club's 'big summer buy.' That is hardly ideal for a team hoping to make an impact on the Premier League title race next season.
David Anderson tweeted: "Liverpool have stepped up pursuit of Mane in recent weeks because of Mario Gotze's reluctant to join them. Mane will be their big summer buy."
Is Mane really good enough to lead Liverpool into a new era of success? Only time will tell, of course, but it appears that he's very highly rated by Klopp.
As you can imagine, Liverpool fans have already expressed their views on social media.
The first tweet just about sums it up:
It would be foolish to completely disregard Mane as a fine signing for Liverpool at this stage, but it's understandable that fans were hoping for something slightly more.
It must be noted, though, that Liverpool fans trust Klopp and will expect the German to make a number of shrewd additions over the coming months.
