New Day rocks. New Day rocks. New Day Rocks.
If you've been to a WWE live event or even watched an episode of Monday Night Raw or SmackDown recently, then you will almost have certainly heard this chanted by the audience at some point or other in the show.
The WWE's World Tag Team Champions are completely over right now and the fans are loving everything that the collection of Xavier Woods, Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston get up to when the cameras are on them. That wouldn't be the case if Kingston had followed the advice of another WWE star.

WWE star Big Show did a Q&A at the comic con event in Sacramento during WWE Money in the Bank weekend, where he wasn't part of the card, not appearing in any match that night.
During the appearance, Show admitted he once told Kofi Kingston not to do the New Day gimmick because he felt it would kill Kingston’s career in the company.
With the success that New Day are now enjoying, Big Show revealed that he went up to the three of them and told them to ignore his previous criticisms.
“Later I had to go to Xavier, Kofi and Big E and said, ‘OK, what I said two weeks ago… completely disregard it.'”
You can watch a video of the Q&A here.
To be fair to the Big Show, nobody thought that the New Day gimmick could ever work. When the trio first went away it looked like they would become some kind of 'black power' group, similar to what The Nation of Domination were in the 90s.
Instead, they came back as a face tag team that were dancing around to gospel music in what was a total Vince McMahon cliche. When people ever doubt that Vince is out of touch, just show them original New Day to shut them up.
Credit must go to Kingston, Woods and E for turning that pile of garbage gimmick that was being booed mercilessly, into the most lovable group of guys on the entire roster.
