Manchester United are now extremely close to securing the signature of Sweden superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
This has been reported by the BBC, who claim that Ibrahimovic should put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal at Old Trafford by the end of this week.
Ibrahimovic, 34, has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford and it now appears that a deal is imminent.

Despite approaching the latter stages of his career, Ibrahimovic is recognised as one of the leading forwards in world football and would represent a major coup for the Red Devils.
The striker has won titles in four different countries, but until now, has never starred in the Premier League.
That looks set to change imminently and the veteran will once again work under Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho.
The experienced coach, who replaced Dutchman Louis van Gaal as United manager at the end of last season, enjoyed a successful yet short spell with Ibrahimovic during his time as Inter Milan manager.
In that season, back in the 2008/09 campaign, Ibrahmivoc netted an admirable 25 league goals to help Inter to Serie A glory.
It's fair to say, though, that Ibrahimovic still has so much to offer and that notion can be comfortably backed up by the fact that he netted an outstanding 38 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
He may well have failed to fire for Sweden during their disappointing Euro 2016 campaign, but United look set to sign one of the classiest strikers in the game.
Ibrahimovic, then, will become Mourinho's second signing as United boss after signing Ivory Coast international Eric Bailly from La Liga side Villarreal.
United also appear to have an interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but it's far from certain as to whether the club will be able to get the deal over the line in the immediate future.
Sky Sports recently claimed that the Red Devils had agreed a £26.3m fee with Dortmund for the player's services, but there could yet be a long way to go in the saga.
One thing is for sure, Mourinho is clearly intent on changing the dynamic of his new side sooner rather than later.
