Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is seemingly desperate to complete a move to Manchester United in this transfer window.
It has been well documented recently that Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho is ready to bring the dynamic midfielder to Old Trafford, but it now remains to be seen as to whether the club manages to get the deal over the line.
Mkhitaryan, 27, is recognised as one of the leading midfielders in Europe and would prove quite the coup for Mourinho in his pursuit of changing the dynamic of his team.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has already confirmed that United had "significantly improved their offer", with reports indicating that the Premier League club have made a bid in the region of £35.2 million.
But will the transfer really transpire? Well, it certainly appears that Mkhitaryan expects it to happen before the start of the new campaign. That's because, as reported by German newspaper Bild, he sent a text message to manager Thomas Tuchel, stating: "I go to Manchester United."
Mkhitaryan saga continues
That's pretty much that then. Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean that United will definitely get their man, but would the Dortmund boss really consider keeping a player on at the club that clearly wants to depart?
Dortmund have parted company with so many high-profile players in recent years - the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze, Mats Hummels, Ilkay Gundogan and co. have all headed for pastures new - so it's surely likely that Mkhitaryan will follow suit.
Mkhitaryan, then, could join Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly at Old Trafford. The 22-year-old completed a move to United from Spanish outfit Villarreal and looks destined to play a key role at the heart of the club's defence.
As well as Bailly and Mkhitaryan, enigmatic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could join the ranks in the immediate future. The Sweden superstar has long been linked with a move to United and it appears that he could finally put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal with the club.
At 34-years-old, Ibrahimovic may well be approaching the latter stages of his career, but it's fair to say that he's still one of the best strikers in world football. After netting a remarkable 37 goals in Ligue 1, his statistics only confirm that notion.
