Manchester United’s transfer policy under Jose Mourinho can certainly be described as being aggressive.
The Portuguese wasted little time in signing Eric Bailly from Villarreal, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could both arrive in the coming days.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have been made to look rather pedestrian by the Red Devils.

And, according to El Confidencial, United are going on the offensive in their bid to sign another superstar.
The Spanish outlet have reignited the Neymar to United rumours by claiming that the Red Devils are desperately trying to convince the Brazilian to snub Barcelona’s contract offer.

United are keen on signing Neymar “at all costs”, the report adds, as Mourinho continues to seek new and exciting additions to his team.
Though the Red Devils appear to have little leverage in the situation. Neymar has been offered a new contract at Barcelona that will see him become the club’s second-highest earner and, in all honesty, it’s hard to imagine Mourinho going all-out to sign the 24-year-old.
Even United fans are doubtful
Pogba interest appears more concrete
United’s interest in Paul Pogba certainly appears to be more concrete, and Mourinho’s budget doesn’t stretch to the value of both the Juventus man and Neymar.
The Brazil captain’s release clause is £153 million - Sport believe that will rise to around £190m if he signs a new deal - while Juventus want £100m for Pogba.
And United have more pressing concerns that need addressing. A bruising defensive-midfielder wouldn’t go amiss, for example.
Regardless of whether there’s any substance to the latest Neymar rumour, what’s clear is that Mourinho is actively pursuing signings who can add quality to his team.
It’s a welcome relief to United fans who watched Louis van Gaal bring in versatile yet severely average players, including Marcus Rojo and Daley Blind.
Bailly is a worthy addition to pair with Chris Smalling at the heart of defence. In Ibrahimovic, who scored 52 goals for Paris Saint-Germain last season, United might have the most clinical striker in England, and the Swede will benefit greatly from Mkhitaryan’s service.
Add Pogba to the mix and United will be favourites to win the title.
