Rival fans just love mocking their rival club’s signing.
When Liverpool announced the signing of Sadio Mane, Manchester United fans instantly compared him to Henrikh Mkhitaryan - mocking the Merseysiders by claiming that their imminent signing was much better.
And then, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced he would be joining United, Liverpool fans teased the Red Devils by claiming the Swede is just another Falcao.

United fans may be being a bit unfair as Nolito is considered more of a winger than a forward. The Spaniard is also five years younger than Ibrahimovic and arrives at the club having scored 39 goals in the previous three seasons at Celta Vigo.
His arrival casts doubt on Raheem Sterling’s future at the club. The England winger had a very disappointing Euro 2016 campaign and appears to be suffering from a confidence crises.
Barca were keen
Nolito has joined the Etihad club for £13.8 million but he was reportedly close to signing for Barcelona. However, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu admitted that the Catalan couldn’t follow through with the deal due to their financial concerns.
"In January, we could not sign Nolito due to our debt ratio," he explained, "we could not exceed our limit.
"(Enrique) knew this. If you can not afford a car, we must settle for another. However, it should be noted that this is not usual, but it's good that Barcelona is a club showing economic control, with maturity and with rigor."
Bartomeu added: "I cannot confirm or deny whether he has again asked for him this summer market..."
Nolito’s signing has added to what has already been a very summer in Manchester. Pep Guardiola and Mourinho have arrived at City and United respectively and have moved quickly the sign Ilkay Gundogan, Eric Bailly, Nolito as well as the imminent arrivals of Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan.
But it’s highly unlikely that the two clubs are planning on stopping anytime soon. Mourinho and Guardiola will go head-to-head once again and are willing to splash the cash to get their side back to the top of English football.
