Roman Reigns' suspension earlier this month caught everyone in the WWE Universe off guard.
The former World Heavyweight Champion was suspended by the WWE for 30 days after a violation of the company's Wellness Policy, forcing him out of every single RAW and SmackDown before the Battleground PPV, as well as missing the draft on July 19.
Rumours abound that the WWE have lost faith in Reigns after his suspension, but judging by Vince McMahon's apparent plans for Reigns - he is still going to be a massive star. And WWE fans are going to hate it.

According to a report from Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch, via No DQ, Vince is apparently a "redemption angle" for Reigns' return to the WWE, either on the Raw or SmackDown brand.
That sound you can hear is the collective groans of WWE fans all over the world who are tired with babyface Roman Reigns.
Apparently, McMahon wants to tell the story of how “the controversy” put Reigns down.
He would then have to find a way to work his way back to what he was before and be even better than he was. McMahon feels if he creates a story in the way he would want it told, it may finally get fans to buy into Reigns and cheer for him.
Hi Vince, you know how Roman has been booed for years now? Well, a failed drugs test isn't going to get him over with the fans.
This is the perfect opportunity for Reigns to turn heel, but McMahon still sees the Samoan as the golden child and is refusing to budge. How boring and predictable.
So, enjoy WWE fans. You're going to have to put up with Roman Reigns overcoming even more obstacles.
