The end of the NBA season was nothing short of incredible for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
LeBron James and co. produced an almighty comeback to down the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, becoming the first team ever to recover from 3-1 in the most important series of them all.
With the dust now settled on the incredible finish, the magnitude of what they achieved is only just being realised. James made good on his promise to bring a first championship to the state of Ohio and ended the curse surrounding the city of Cleveland.

As a reward for their achievements, the Wine and Gold have been nominated for seven ESPY awards. The ceremony will be hosted by WWE superstar John Cena on July 13 and voting is open now. Here are a breakdown of the nominations for the current champions.
Unsurprisingly, they have been nominated for Best Team following their exploits in overcoming the much-fancied Warriors. They go up against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Kansas City Royals, Denver Broncos, Alabama Crimson Tide, UConn Huskies and Villanova Wildcats.
Tyronn Lue is up for Best Coach against Ned Yost, Geno Auriemma, Jay Wright and Nick Saban.
Game seven of the NBA Finals is in the Best Game category alongside the March Madness final and the NFL Divisional Playoffs matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
LeBron is up for four awards. He faces Stephen Curry, Cam Newton and Bryce Harper for Best Male Athlete. For Best Championship Performance he will have to overcome Von Miller, Carli Lloyd and Sidney Crosby while Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook provide competition for the Best NBA Player.
His now legendary block on Andre Iguodala is also in the final eight for Best Plays.
