WrestleMania 31 is still considered to have been one of the greatest WrestleMania's of the modern era. This is mainly down to the fact that Ronda Rousey made a shock appearance to help The Rock against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and the former UFC Champion left a lasting impression.
Since her explosive arrival on WWE TV there has been a huge amount of speculation regarding whether or not she would be allowed to actually compete for WWE since Dana White forbid her from being apart of WrestleMania 32.
Recent exchanges between UFC and WWE seem to be much more positive and the fact that Brock Lesnar is fighting for UFC next weekend whilst still contracted to WWE suggests that UFC may owe WWE a favour in return.

STEPHANIE STILL FIGHTING FOR RONDA?
Even though Ronda's shock WWE appearance was more than a year ago now it is thought that Stephanie is still fighting quite hard for Ronda to return to the company once again.
When Ronda first appeared she was called into the ring by The Rock when he was being belittled by Triple H and Stephanie and had declared that he wouldn't hit a woman but he knew someone who would. Ronda then came into the ring and hip tossed Triple H before locking Stephanie in an arm bar that looked considerably painful.
On the grandest stage of them all, a show that was created by her father and is considered to be one of the biggest events of the year, there is no way Stephanie would forget someone embarrassing her in such an epic way on her own turf, which means she is obviously open for a revenge match.

TAG TEAM OR SINGLES MATCH?
The match that was first pitched was The Rock and Ronda vs Triple H and Stephanie, it was a match that many of the WWE Universe were anticipating for months before it was made obvious that Ronda would not be allowed to compete.
Given that Paige VanZant has turned down the opportunity to appear at SummerSlam next month because of her own UFC commitments, there shouldn't be anything stopping Ronda from appearing next year.
Ronda would destroy Stephanie in a one-on-one match so it is more than likely that the Tag Team Match could still be set to happen as long as The Rock doesn't have any other commitments, but since he has appeared at every WrestleManis for the past five years, it seems likely that he will free up his schedule to play a part in this.
