The reign of Charlotte as WWE Women's Champion has been a long one and at times, an uneventful one.
The daughter of Hall of Famer Ric Flair won the newly unveiled title at WrestleMania 32 after defeating Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match.
A new partner
Since WrestleMania, Charlotte has turned on her own father and enlisted the help of Dana Brooke as her enforcer at ringside.

The debut of Dana Brooke saw her link up with an old NXT ally in Emma before she unfortunately suffered a serious back injury.
Brooke has now been linked up with the Women's Champion for several months and in that time, she has been a regular name on the main roster.
Some fans were however sceptical of the WWE for linking her up with Charlotte in the first place, but finally, the reason has been revealed.
It seems that the WWE wanted Brooke on the main roster but not without the guidance of a veteran and since Emma got hurt, they had to find an alternative.
Rumours have emerged that the initial idea was to pair Brooke with controversial figure Eva Marie but that plan was scrapped in favour of Charlotte.
It goes without saying that many fans will be happy that Eva Marie is still not on the main roster but we have to wonder just how long it will stay that way.
A new champion emerging?
As we build up to Summer Slam in August, a new challenger has emerged for Charlotte's Women's Championship in The Boss Sasha Banks.
Banks recently returned from an injury that kept her away from the ring for a long time, but her return surely signals a new champion in the offing.
The fans want Banks as their new champion and it appears that she is now set to have her one on one clash for the Women's Championship.
