As the transfer window begins, huge transfers have already taken place. Crystal Palace had cast their eye on the young Belgian, Michy Batshuayi, but as Chelsea have swooped in front for his signature, their eyes have been cast elsewhere - for the out of favour Christian Benteke.
Alan Pardew and the Eagles have been eager to sign the Liverpool reject, with a surprise bid of £31.5 million for the striker.
In light of this speculation, Liverpool fans have been overjoyed at the idea of receiving such an amount for the recent benchwarmer.

If the transfer is to go through, Klopp should be looking to use the money wisely. Enough of the attacking midfielders - it’s time to sort the defence and strikeforce.
Alberto Moreno has been out of favour in the past few months, a stint at Liverpool was tainted by a poor performance against his former side, Sevilla, in the Europa League Final.

One player who could fill the spot is Jonas Hector. The 6ft 1in left back has been number one choice in his position for the Germans this Euro 2016, putting away the winning penalty in the tight quarter-final with Italy.
The 26-year-old has established himself in the side and would be perfect down the left flank at Anfield. Surely the Klopp effect could persuade the fellow German?
As the out of favour Martin Skrtel seems to be on his way out, Mamadou Sakho in the centre of controversy rather than any sort of defence and with Kolo Toure packing his bags, Klopp needs a solid, experienced centre-half - someone who ticks all of those boxes is Neven Subotic.
Subotic has impressed at Borussia Dortmund since his signing in 2008, however the introduction of Marc Bartra has proved a threat to his position. It was thought the Serbian could hold the fort without the recently transferred Mats Hummels, but the Spaniard and Greek captain, Sokratis Papastathopoulos look likely set to be Thomas Tuchel. With Klopp’s previous link with Borussia Dortmund, a move could easily be on the cards.
As things have appeared to plummet since the departure of Luis Suarez, with fans looking to Benteke for answers, a big signing needs to be made from Jurgen Klopp.
It is never easy trying to replace such a prolific and talented striker, but Liverpool's attempts have been in vain so far.
Despite not being selected in France's squad for Euro 2016, Alexandre Lacazette has been the man in form for Lyon in previous seasons, racking up a goal tally of 82 goals in 166 games for the French side and a Player of the Year award from 2015 to sit on the mantelpiece . The Gunners look keen on his signature but he would also be a welcome addition at Liverpool, to go alongside Daniel Sturridge.
If those signings are made, the upcoming season should look bright for Liverpool FC.
