Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan believes that Henrikh Mkhitaryan can have a huge impact in the Premier League.
The Armenian winger, who is close to joining Gundogan in leaving Borussia Dortmund, will become Jose Mourinho´s third summer signing at Manchester United.
It follows the acquisitions of Eric Bailly from Villarreal and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer, with Mkhitaryan expected to bring the pace and potency the club sorely lacked under Louis van Gaal.

And Gundogan, who left Dortmund for City for a crack at life in the Premier League last month, believes his former team-mate can be a big hit over at Old Trafford.
¨Henrikh has been at Dortmund for three years. The first two years were not so easy for him, to be honest,¨ the 25-year-old told the Manchester Evening News.
"He's a player who needs self-confidence, who needs to play every time and prove himself to get better and better. At this time, we were not so successful, so it was not easy for him to adapt. He had a few problems.
"But when you see how he played last year, it was really incredible. Maybe he was the most important player for us last year.
"If he can go on like this, he will have a big, big impact for Manchester United, and a big plus. I wish him the best, and to stay healthy.”
Mkhitaryan shone under the stewardship of Thomas Tuchel last season, scoring 23 goals and registering 32 assists across all competitions.
By contrast, United´s highest goalscorer was Anthony Martial with 17, with Juan Mata leading the way on assists with just nine.
Not Cristiano Ronaldo have United possessed a winger of the highest order, and Mourinho will no doubt be hoping Mkhitaryan changes that once his move is completed.
